The campground in Winterhaven was nestled among lettuce fields peppered with migrant workers picking and boxing up the ripe produce.
Needing some fresh air, we found a hike nearby and drove out into the desert to find the trailhead. Grant, Jack and I ended up climbing a mountain in the desert, while Stellie waited at the bottom. The views from the top were amazing and the hike/climb was a lot of fun.
