Truman Waterfront Market, Key West, FL

ODOMETER: 80,549 | MILES TRAVELED: 2,604

by Grant

It was another cool night (relatively – 60 degrees) in Key West. It remains cool in the morning so Jana and I do some work. All four of us take the puppies out for a stretch and a break. There is not a lot of free space here at Boyd’s, but we manage to navigate around sites to get the dogs’ business done.

We’re ready to move on from our current locale, but we’re waiting for Ida and Wess (Jana’s sister and brother-in-law) to visit this weekend. We’re then headed up to the Everglades and onto the West Coast of Florida.

We work through the day and then head down to the Truman Waterfront Market, which used to be the Key West Farmers Market. This happens every Thursday. We are able to procure a lot of wonderful produce and head back to the bus to make dinner.

Why We Sold Our Home to Live on a Bus and Travel Full-TimeAt any other point in time, the decision to sell our home and move into an RV to travel the U.S. full-time with two teenagers and three dogs might be quite ridiculous. But in these unfathomably complex and...
