Jana and I get out for a morning paddle board. We’ve missed paddling and this is my first opportunity to try out the StarBoard SUP I picked up in HHI. It’s much shorter than my previous board, but has plenty of volume and rides really well. It’s a bit windy, but a truly beautiful day. We head out against the wind and tide toward the Atlantic through Palmetto Bay and Jana spotted a dolphin swimming nearby. We get her on video and this caps off an amazing paddle.

It’s rare to see one dolphin by itself, but it feels like she’s happily cruising down the bay and we are really appreciative of the opportunity to see her freewheeling through the water around our boards.

Later in the morning, we take a bike ride with Jack and Ellie to a great little bakery down the road, Signe’s Heaven Bound Bakery and Cafe. We enjoy a lovely brunch before the kids have to log in to school.

We spend the rest of the day around the RV, doing some catch up and getting ready for our next leg down to Daytona Beach tomorrow.

Why We Sold Our Home to Live on a Bus and Travel Full-TimeAt any other point in time, the decision to sell our home and move into an RV to travel the U.S. full-time with two teenagers and three dogs might be quite ridiculous. But in these unfathomably complex and...
