We awoke to a stunning sunrise over the Gulf of California. We had parked at the far end of the seafront sites, but had no WiFi signal there. We decided to relocate beside the store Tienda El Limon to get signal and relocated Thelma in the tight confines of the beachfront lots.

The tide is raising and falling 15+ feet, so when it is high tide there is very little beach left. During low tide, there are hundreds of yards of flat sand. This makes for easy walks with the dogs, except that Phoebe is a big wuss and doesn’t like getting her delicate feet wet.

Jack and Ellie still have midterms, so they’re preoccupied with school. Jana and I spent time doing our stuff and taking the dogs out routinely. I spent a lot of time trying to source a different tow package for the Jeep and working out how to get it to Mexico.

WiFi is patchy so it was an early night for everyone and catching up from the stressful travel day yesterday.
