It’s the first easy start to the day. Jana’s working on a backlog of marketing and design work and I am trying to finish writing an article on hiring remotely for HR.com. Jack and Ellie are steadily catching up with a backlog of schoolwork and the current to-do-list grows shorter still.

It feels like we’re over the hump with this massive transition, but everyone’s still pretty tired and we’re all hoping to fully recover soon. Jana drives to meet her sister, Zuzana for a catch up in the early afternoon. Later in the evening, we have an awesome BBQ and bonfire at Wess and Ida’s, where we’re joined by their (and our) friends Joe and Jess and Jana’s mom Lida and stepdad, Dusan. We all really appreciate the opportunity to get out a bit and socialize with family and friends in the fresh MA evening.
