Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort, SC, Fish Haul Beach

This is our first full day on Hilton Head Island. We’re keen to find another beach so after giving the dogs a good stretch we head to Fish Haul Beach (just the humans) and enjoy a lovely afternoon chilling on the beach. Ellie builds an amazing sandcastle and Jack digs an impressive hole in which he partially buries himself. It feels like a stepback in time with us all hanging out on a beach and enjoying the sun and the sand.
We come back to the resort and take the dogs for another break. They’re loving the dog park and it’s nice to sit down and let them run while we relax and chat. We’re still adapting to pooper scooping though. We were so lucky living on property all those years and never having to go round chasing steaming dog turds with a plastic bag ;-(
Jana and Ellie cook an amazing pasta dinner and we sit back and watch “Cars 2”! It’s an awesome night and there’s a great sense of calm settling over us!
It feels like a stepback in time with us all hanging out on a beach and enjoying the sun and the sand.
