Asheville, NC

ODOMETER: 79,410 | MILES TRAVELED: 1,465

by Grant

It’s a little cloudy, cool and windy and we have to check out of Rutledge’s RV park. We are going to camp at a diesel repair shop for the night. Diesel Power near Asheville. This diesel repair shop was recommended to us to have our radiator cleaned. In diesel pushers (engine at the back of the bus) the radiator can get gunked up pretty badly (all the engine debris ends up in the radiator) so we’re hoping a good clean will let Thelma run cooler through the mountains.

We may have to vacate the RV for the entire day on Monday as they work on her, but plan to take the dogs to a park and generally check out more of the Asheville area with all 7 of us crammed into the Jeep.
