Today’s the day to take the labradoodles to the vet for their follow up Ehrlichia test. The vet we go to is the Lower Keys Animal clinic. The vet and his team are really awesome, and provide a test result on the spot. They still test positive. Soo getting the puppies into Australia is not an option.

I return to the RV to break the news. There’s not much we can do about it and even though it closes a door for us we are going to continue our journey and see what turns up.

We grab Jack and Ellie and we all head to Zachary Taylor Beach for a swim and some fresh air. It’s a bit busy there so we head back to the RV, stopping at Flamingo Crossing to pick up some happiness in a waffle cone ?.

We have decided to replace the failing kitchen sink faucet and the entire plumbing system under both the bathroom sink and the kitchen sink. I work on this while Jana wraps up the blog site. We both get our tasks completed just in time to head over to pick up Ida and Wess from the Key West International Airport.

It’s really good to see them both. They have a small healthy ‘pod’ in MA and have travelled with great care and arrive in good spirits.

They drop their bags at their hotel and we head back to “Thelma” for the evening.

We grill out on the picnic table beside the RV and hang out and laugh and chat. It is really nice to spend some time with family and catch up. FaceTime is good, but having your friends or family in your vicinity is awesome!!

There’s not much we can do about it and even though it closes a door for us we are going to continue our journey and see what turns up.

Sailing Tahiti to Australia | Month 2 FP

Here is what our second month living on our boat, Hanavave, in Tahiti, French Polynesia, was like.

Our trip to Australia was delayed due to port closures throughout the South Pacific. We spent the month making improvements to Hanavave so that we could make the passage to Australia with fewer stops.

Why We Sold Our Home to Live on a Bus and Travel Full-TimeAt any other point in time, the decision to sell our home and move into an RV to travel the U.S. full-time with two teenagers and three dogs might be quite ridiculous. But in these unfathomably complex and...
